The AnyLogic model development environment is a Java and Eclipse based application and has been tested on the following platforms:
- Microsoft Windows 11, x64
- Microsoft Windows 10, x64
- Apple macOS 12–15, x64 or ARM, Safari 9+
- Ubuntu Linux 18, 20, and 22, x64 (with GTK+, libwebkitgtk-1.0-0, libudev, libssl installed), Firefox 24+
- Linux Mint 17, x64 (with GTK+, libwebkitgtk-1.0-0, libudev, libssl installed), Firefox 24+
AnyLogic can also be installed on other platforms not included in this list (for example, other Linux distributions), but we cannot guarantee its full platform compatibility.
- AnyLogic installation requires 1.5 GB of free disk space.
- We recommend to have 4–8 GB of RAM and a modern processor with at least 2 cores for optimal performance (more cores benefit pedestrian modeling and experiments with multiple runs).
- A mouse is generally preferred over a touchpad for graphical editing.
AnyLogic standalone Java applications run on any Java-enabled platform with JDK (Java Development Kit) 17 or higher (download Java 17 from Oracle).
AnyLogic Simulation Application is a pure Java application and has been tested on the following platforms:
