Team License Server: Release notes

Team License Server 3.3 — Aug 2025

  • Starting with the June 2025 releases, all AnyLogic products will support Team License Server 3.3, which introduces a new certificate format.
    Team License Server 3.3 is not compatible with older versions of the software (AnyLogic prior to 8.9.5, anyLogistix prior to 3.4.0, AnyLogic Cloud prior to 2.5.3). Earlier product versions will continue to work with Team License Server 3.2.
    Make sure to use the appropriate Team License Server version for your product.
  • Security updates:
    • TLS protocols and DHE ciphers;
    • Spring Framework updates;
    • The Tomcat vulnerability has been eliminated.
  • You can now adjust the HTTPS port (8443) during the installation.
  • Minor frontend improvements and new notifications.
  • The documentation has been updated.

Team License Server 3.2 — May 2024

  • USB key (dongle) activation is introduced for AnyLogic team licenses:
    • USB key is now available as an option during the product activation,
    • New upgrade mechanism for the licenses using the USB key.
  • Official release for Windows.
  • Some frontend improvements, including new notifications and tooltips.
  • Updated documentation.

Team License Server 3.1 — Sep 2023

  • Subscription option is introduced for AnyLogic and anyLogistix team licenses.
    • Subscription is added as an option during the product activation.
    • End users can only lease keys from the server during the subscription period.
    • Progress bar visuals are updated to reflect the subscription period.
  • Some front-end side improvements:
    • Subscription-related improvements,
    • New notifications and tooltips,
    • A new favicon.
  • Windows beta release.
  • Updated documentation.

Team License Server 3.0 — Jul 2023

  • The first release of revamped Team License Server introduces a new licensing approach.
    • AnyLogic, anyLogistix, and AnyLogic Cloud are all activated by a single server, compatible with Ubuntu, CentOS Stream, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
    • New look and feel, with a friendly and informative interface.
  • New features introduced with this release:
    • Dynamic user table.
    • Change the lease period of license users from the UI.
    • Change the address of the Private Cloud host machine.
    • Remove licenses from users’ machines.
  • A dedicated documentation website is launched to support the release of new Team License Server.
  • Improved troubleshooting: error messages are more descriptive, along with a dedicated documentation section covering the most common issues.
